Zakee Shariff is an artist and designer, whose work is rooted in connection and the emotional responses it evokes.
Zakee uses the mediums of screen-printing with acrylic and ink, working on paper, wood, glass, metal and on her own limited edition clothing.
In this workshop, Zakee is going to share some of her techniques. You will then be encouraged to create your own pieces and explore your own techniques, focusing on the ink, colour blending and mark making that can be used to create a painting.
It will be an opportunity to explore the freedom of painting and the joy of colour. All materials will be provided and no previous experience is needed. Zakee asks that you just let go and enjoy the ride!
