In 2005 one of Zakee’s screen prints, Karokia, was procured by the V&A Museum, and was subsequently featured in their Prints Now exhibition, held in the V&A’s Julie & Robert Breckman Gallery in 2006. The show detailed recent developments in printmaking and the ways in which artists have used print as an important element in their practice. A book entitled Prints Now – Directions And Definitions was produced to accompany the exhibition, written by Rosie Miles and Gill Saunders.
