Zakee’s Summer Breeze collection for Spring/Summer 2004 was inspired by the joys of city life crossed with the elements of nature, especially the sea.
The collection included a fusion of elegant silks, strong tailoring and casual jerseys. Images and shapes inspired by musical influences from surfer songs to grimey rap tunes were revealed across the collection from Earth Wind & Fire denim, Dancing Girl canvas skirts and torn joggers to bird-embroidered satin lingerie and rainbow knits complete with Starcat-print shoes and plaited accessories.
