Zakee created two new posters, one for The Women’s March that took place across the world on 21 Jan 2017. It was a women-led movement that brought together people of all genders, ages, races, cultures, political affiliations and backgrounds, to affirm a shared humanity and pronounce a bold message of resistance and self-determination.
The second poster was to celebrate A Day Without A Woman on 8 March 2017 (International Women’s Day) where women refrained from paid and unpaid work, spending money and wore red in solidarity to highlight the economic power and significance women have globally.
Both posters are available as signed editions of 100, with 20% of profits donated to Women’s March On London, an organisation very dear to Zakee’s heart.
