Zakee’s Autumn/Winter 2002 collection offered a gentle and peaceful approach to fashion design. Birds of peace and the butterflies of lost love fluttered across fabrics in the form of new prints, alongside tree of life imagery and Zakee’s signature star motifs. Butterfly and bird brooches, pretty hair pieces, long silk scarves, embroidered belts and tight-fitting neckties all offered feminine finishing touches to the collection (accessories designed in collaboration with Lucy Miller).
