Zakee exhibited a selection of new artwork at the Old Shoreditch Station (AKA No-One/Jaguar Shoes) on Kingsland Road, London E2. The show then moved to Gloss/Grand in Zurich, Switzerland. Supported by Roxy Heart, the show saw a departure from Zakee’s use of linear drawings, with a move into more abstract use of brush marks and origami paper collage. “Searching For Light” represents a journey of the mind. It was representation of a personal journey from light to dark and the dance of the psyche. The artwork was a mixture of hand-painted watercolour, silk-screen print and collage.
